The annual Great Migration is a wonderful and exiting experience and is regarded as “The Greatest Show on Earth”. The herds of wildebeest, zebra and thomsons gazelle generally move in a clockwise direction throughout the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem - a movement for which this safari has been designed to follow, knowing the best location for specific times of year is of paramount importance. The exact route of the migrating herbivores depends on the weather and where the grass is greener, however the migration does tend to follow the same, or a similar, pattern year after year, which means that you can have a good idea of where to locate yourself.
