Expect In Africa Safari: recommend that you consult with your physician or a travel medical doctor for advice several months in advance of your trip as you may need a series of vaccinations. Please ensure that you indicate that you will be traveling to Tanzania on safari. Your doctor will be able to suggest which vaccinations and medications are advisable. Anti-malarial medication is strongly recommended and should be discussed during your doctor’s visit.
All vaccinations are voluntary for entry into Tanzania except for Yellow Fever vaccination. If you are entering Tanzania from Yellow Fever infected country such as Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda, you will be required to show a Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate upon arrival in Tanzania. Please ensure you carry this Certificate with your passport. If you are entering Tanzania from Europe, you will not be required to show a Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
No immunizations are required by law to enter Tanzania if you are traveling directly from Europe or the US. If you are traveling from a country where Yellow Fever is present you will need to prove you have had the inoculation.

There's a risk of catching malaria pretty much everywhere you travel in Tanzania. While it's true that areas of high altitude like the Ngorongoro Conservation Area are relatively malaria-free, you will usually be passing through areas where malaria is prevalent in order to get there.
No alterations to the terms and conditions may be made by any of the company’s unless in writing by an authorized officer of the company. Rates quoted are correct at the time given and are subject to change. Expect in Africa Safari reserves the right to charge surcharges due to unavoidable circumstances beyond our control such as inflation, Government Axes, revised taxation or other fees. However, every effort will be made to minimize the surcharges.
Booking Conditions and Payment:
A reservation is considered confirmed upon receipt of a 70% deposit to our bank account. Only the amount received by our bank account shall be regarded as paid (with all money transfer costs paid by the customer). The remaining balance is due 45 days before your departure date. If your reservation is made within 45 days of departure, the entire amount must be paid at the time of confirmation.
Although if a client is unable to pay the entire amount at the due date, we will do our best to provide an alternative option. However, requests to do so must be emailed in within 45 days or else the reservation will be placed on hold. No discounts are given on holidays or other special periods.
• Children between the age of 3 and 12 years will pay 60% of the adult rate if sharing a room with two adults.
• Pay 60% of the adult rate if sharing a room with another child
• Pay 100% of the adult rates if sharing a room with one adult
Any cancellation of a reservation must be in writing, either by e-mail or fax and shall only be effective upon its receipt and acknowledgement by Expect in Africa Safari. Thus, reservations that are cancelled, reduced in length of stay or reduced in the number of occupancies are subject to cancellation and no-show fees. The following scale of cancellation charges will be applicable, depending on the day before the departure of the tour when the cancellation notice is received.
• 25% if cancelled up to 30 days prior to arrival
• 50% if cancelled between 30 and 15 days prior to arrival
• 100% if cancelled within 14 days or in the case of a ‘No Show.’
If you're planning to visit Northern Tanzania, the best airport to arrive at is Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA). KLM has daily flights from Amsterdam. Ethiopian and Kenya Airways also fly into KIA.If you're planning to visit Zanzibar, southern and western Tanzania, you'll want to fly to the capital Dar es Salaam. European carriers that fly into Dar es Salaam include British Airways, KLM, and Swissair (which codeshares with Delta).
